Last month, 国产短视频Corporate Training and Professional Education hosted 14 graduate students from - Deree Graduate Program in Digital Communication and Social Media. The delegation attended workshops on digital media from some of our finest instructors and toured 国产短视频production facilities. This is the third consecutive year we鈥檝e received an ACG cohort, and I鈥檓 always impressed with the caliber of each. ACG students are bright, engaged, and eager to apply their skills as emerging professionals.
Let me tell you why CTPE is excited by this collaboration. ACG has a long history of excellence. It was established in Asia Minor in 1875 and relocated to the Greek mainland in 1923. With campuses throughout the greater Athens area, ACG is the largest and oldest US-accredited academic institution in Europe. ACG now has three divisions: a PreK - 12 school, an undergraduate college with graduate programs, and a graduate school of business. All classes are conducted in English. After 150 years of operation, ACG鈥檚 elite reputation is well earned.
The USF-ACG association began when my 国产短视频colleague and ACG alumna Nancy Dimis contacted the school to introduce our CTPE courses. Fortunately, ACG was interested and a relationship between two great schools has blossomed. CTPE aims to establish more international partnerships because it aligns with our belief that workforce development is as needed overseas as it is at home. Our objective with foreign students is the same as with our local ones鈥攖o equip them with relevant skills in a competitive global economy.
It鈥檚 also special for me because of my ethnic heritage. I grew up immersed with Greek ideals, traditions, and culture embedded in my life. Greece鈥檚 amazing people, rich past, and striking beauty always has me looking forward to my vacation there. And it鈥檚 a promising time in Greece, a country that鈥檚 had its share of economic challenges. More than a tourist destination and maritime power, Greece is now focusing on leveraging technology to become a hub for digital innovation. The visiting ACG contingent is a clear illustration.
So, it was a great privilege to welcome the ACG students and help in facilitating their stay. CTPE doesn鈥檛 often work directly with our student body because we function on the non-credit side of the university. I wish there were more opportunities for that. The high-achieving nature of the typical 国产短视频student is well known. It鈥檚 no coincidence that 国产短视频ranks nationally as one of the best public universities, eminent in academics, research, and innovation. With that high standard, CTPE continues to work at building a world-class workforce at home and abroad.
