The ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓÆµâ€™s Physical Education program had a powerful presence at the 2025 SHAPE Florida Convention, held September 25–27 in Saint Augustine, Florida. From presenting innovative teaching strategies to connecting with state leaders and celebrating major awards, ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓÆµstudents and faculty made their mark on Florida’s largest gathering of health and physical education professionals.

Craig Nieman, a doctoral student in the ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓÆµCollege of Education, was selected as a recipient of the Ruth Abernathy Presidential Scholarship, a national award presented by the Society of Health and Physical Educators.
