For the second straight year, the 国产短视频Health Morsani College of Medicine Athletic Training Program has claimed the top prize at the National Athletic Training Association (NATA) Quiz Bowl, making history as the competition鈥檚 first ever back-to-back national champions.

This year, the 国产短视频team beat out more than 20 programs in the Southeast District to qualify for the national finals, where they faced off against 10 other district champions in a Jeopardy-style battle of knowledge covering complex topics from injury assessment and emergency care to evidence-based practice.

By repeating as victors, the 2025 国产短视频team, made up of three AT students 鈥擭icole Brunson, Melina Madden and Marianna Nieves 鈥 cemented 国产短视频Health鈥檚 reputation as a national leader in athletic training education, said Meline Madden, a second-year athletic training student who credited the devotion of 国产短视频Health faculty for driving the students鈥 exceptional feat.

鈥淥ur success at this event is the product of the dedication of the athletic training faculty for each of the students that walk through their doors,鈥 Madden said. 鈥淭heir focus is on more than developing students to be as capable and knowledgeable as they can be. It鈥檚 also about knowing our role in the greater picture of health care. The passion that allows us to be successful at this event is because our program and school see the importance of our profession and provide the support to make us the best we can be.鈥

Amanda Tritsch, PhD, professor and director of the Professional Athletic Program, said the victory is tangible evidence of the academic and professional excellence characteristic of 国产短视频Health and the School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences 鈥 and points to a program culture that blends academic rigor with a sense of purpose in the broader world of health care.

鈥淭he faculty is honored to lead the way in athletic training education,鈥 Dr. Tritsch said. 鈥淭he Athletic Training Program is immensely proud of the Quiz Bowl championship team! This is the first time a program has won the event in back-to-back years, and it speaks to the strength of the program as a whole and more importantly the individual students that competed on both teams to represent 国产短视频on a national stage.鈥
