Requirements and Deadlines

GET STARTED EARLY

  • High School 11th graders apply as early as September of their junior year and attend full time in 12th grade after completing a Degree Seeking Application (see below).  Do not apply if you do not have an SAT, ACT, or CLT.
  • You must still be a high school student while attending Early Admission
  • SEND test scores/transcripts on or before the March 1st review of your student records, which will be done by 国产短视频admissions.
  • Application due dates are subject to change based on 国产短视频reaching maximum capacity.
  • Per Florida Statute, all Students participating in EUP must have a Counselor Approval Form (CAF) submitted by the school counselor or Home School/PEP Administrator for any courses to be registered at USF. This ensures that the courses are needed for high school graduation requirements and 国产短视频can verify the courses can be applied toward a BS/BA degree. 

EARLY ADMISSION (EA) REQUIREMENTS

  • Articulation Agreement: School Districts, Charter Schools, Private Schools and Homeschooled Administrators (Guardian) must have an Articulation Agreement. 
  • Apply while a junior in high school; attend full time your senior year of high school.
  • GPA 3.8: Unweighted
  • Foreign Language: 2 years completion through LEVEL II 
  • TEST SCORES- not restricted to 国产短视频Testing center:   
    • SAT: 1300, with at least 580 in Critical Reading
    • ACT: 29, with at least 29 in English
    • CLT:  38 Verbal + 38 Writing (V+W), and 16 Quantitative (Q)
    • 国产短视频Testing Center ACT or SAT
  • Send official test scores to 国产短视频admissions.  Request scores be sent to 国产短视频using school code 5828 for the SAT, and 0761 for the ACT. It usually takes 3-5 weeks for test results to arrive.
  • Send official high school transcripts to 国产短视频admissions.
  • HOMESCHOOL only, please send transcripts to admissions@usf.edu. and Provide letter from the school district confirming homeschool registration or a PEP Award Letter.
  • FUTURE: Once you complete your Fall and Spring Early Admission year and graduate from high school, send an official high school graduation transcript to Admissions.

 Application Process Overview

  • : Submit your 国产短视频Application for Admission online as a degree seeking student no later than March 1st.
  • NET ID: Activate your3 days after applying. Your created 国产短视频email will work after you are accepted.
  • Scores & Transcripts: Submit official partial high school transcripts & official test scores to 国产短视频admissions. 
    • Official tests scores must be sent to 国产短视频from the testing company.  Request scores be sent to 国产短视频using 5828 as the school code for the SAT, and 0761 for the ACT. For CLT, select Univ. of S. Florida from the drop down menu. It usually takes 3-5 weeks for test results to arrive.
    • If unofficial transcripts and test scores are emailed to dualenrollment@usf.edu while waiting for acceptance, these DO NOT replace required official transcripts & test scores needed by admissions.
    • TRANSCRIPTS: Use PARCHMENT from other colleges or see accepted forms for 国产短视频Admissions here.
    • PUBLIC SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT: FASTER/SPEEDE* - School Code 001537
    • PRIVATE SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT: Parchment Exchange - (including Naviance and Credential Solutions) or admissions@usf.edu
    • HOMESCHOOL TRANSCRIPT:  admissions@usf.edu and transcripts@usf.edu 
  • EA Counselor Approval Form (CAF): Submitted by a school counselor / Homeschool /PEP Parent Administrator-lists remaining high school requiremed courses. Early Admission Counselor Approval Form (CAF)
    • Confirms applicant's readiness, includes needed courses for high school graduation.
    • Counselor ensures 国产短视频Office of Admissions receives official high school transcripts.
  • 国产短视频Academic Advisor: A 国产短视频academic advisor will be assigned once accepted.
  • ORIENTATION: Students must sign up for ORIENTATION after being accepted  so they can register. This is mandatory.  Select your home campus for orientation.
  • ONCE ACCEPTED: You must check your 国产短视频email regularly, and work with your assigned 国产短视频academic advisor.
  • Medical History Form and
  • Purchase your recommended textbooks by Thursday the first week of the course.  This is bookstore purchases or opting-in.  Go here for the directions.

DEADLINES FOR EARLY ADMISSION (EA)

The timeline for early admission applications matches that of regular First Time In College (FTIC) students. Full schedule of deadlines.

  • Student submits ALL requirements for Early Admissions to be received by March 1st.
  • All transcripts and admission documents must be received by March 1st.
  • All Early Admission students must have their textbooks purchased by Thursday the first week of class.  Go here for the process and to use money on your account.
  • Student can submit a Judy Genshaft Honors College Application and online application by March 1st of their Junior Year. Follow the JGHC timeline (additional application process).
  • All 国产短视频Partners request Articulation Agreements by May 15th to support upcoming Junior status students applying in the Fall for Early Admissions-Dual Enrollment during their Senior Year.
  • Only Homeschool/PEP Administrators / Parents must submit proof of homeschool verification letter from district or provide a PEP award to admissions@usf.edu . (Provide letter from the district confirming homeschool registration or a PEP Award Letter)
