Prakirti Singh, a post-doctoral candidate in the Department of Chemical, Biological and Materials Engineering at USF, for earning second prize at the 2025 AMPP (Association for Materials Protection and Performance) Annual Conference. Singh presented research focused on materials protection and performance, competing among top doctoral students and industry professionals.

AAEES Honored Three ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓÆµEngineering Students and Alum

Three members of the ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓÆµ community were honored by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists for their achievements. Tione Grant received the 2024 EESF Scholarship, Bruno Mancini earned the 2025 W. Brewster Snow Award, and alumna Addie Buerck was named to the AAEES 40 Under 40 list. Additionally, Laura Gonzalez Rodriguez and her team won the 2025 E3S Design Prize, showcasing USF’s growing impact in environmental engineering and science.

A member of Dr. Zach Haber’s research group, Worley has contributed to innovative studies on Ultra High-Performance Concrete for bridge infrastructure. His acceptance into the REU program is a testament to his dedication and potential for a future in materials science and engineering.
